The Compound Interest of Personal Development

self help self confidence personal development fulfillment confidence courses change your life challenging core beliefs building confidence exercises build confidence 2 be the best

A man who knew the benefit of compound interest

Growth comes by choice and it comes in stages. From the evidence I see on our monthly confidence courses, we meet both people who have decided to use the course as a launch pad for gaining new jobs and sky high confidence and we have met people who rejected the opportunity and threw it back in our faces. Thankfully, there are not many of these, yet even these can be inspired and turned around.

Are You Committed and Ready For Change?

Even the most notable coaches and personal development gurus of our age have ruled that they will only work with people who are absolutely for change. What is being ready for change? What does that mean? Being ready for change means having made the decision to change already. It is being fully committed to achieving a different set of results to the ones already achieved. For Anthony Robbins it was an essential prerequisite of booking a session with him that the person wanting his time was already 100% committed to dealing with the issue at hand. One useful way he could validate this was by charging enormous fees for the privilege. As Anthony Robbins acknowledges this made his job so much easier to achieve. If the fundamental commitment is there, even if the knowledge of what to do is lacking, commitment alone will carry the person towards success – because with commitment of this kind, action inevitably follows.
I have worked with people who want change and those who are not ready for it at all. These are the ones in denial and resistant to the possibilities. Yet by the end of our course they are ready and willing. We put them through a personal development pathway helping them discover new ideas, engage with thinking about their past, and their present, look at opportunities, observe barriers, analyse their strengths and weaknesses, their personal skills and how to maximise them, look at values and beliefs, identity, decision making, persuasion skills, reframing and goal setting. This course is unique because it applies the principles of personal development in a group setting, finally the trainees can come face to face with themselves, to see what is wrong, what is right and where they can make real improvements. At the end of this truly life changing course, even those resistant ones acknowledge the value of what they have achieved, and can see a brand new way forward which will change their lives for good.

The Compound Interest Effect

The trainees learn that if they really want positive and lasting change they need to take small steps towards their goal every day. Only in the movies and through the lottery does change come in a vast cosmic wave, but here people surprise themselves in finding that a giant leap forward is possible in a short space of time with small and incremental positive actions that build on one another. It may not be as sexy as some of the promises of the so-called gurus out there, but as a colleague of mine says, I am not a guru – “I am a do-ru.” I work in the field, and help set the foundations for people to achieve success in their own way in their own right. You really can change your life if you want to. Just understand that personal development works with through daily increments of change, offering you compound interest on your daily investments. And it eventually it pays huge dividends.
This is crucial. The journey to success starts with just a single step, and that step gets easier each day until it becomes automatic. When it becomes automatic you do not have to try hard to make it happen, it becomes your second nature. Then you can focus on your next goal – the next action to change your life for the better. Soon all the changes you make add up until you collect your own personal jackpot – financial, spiritual, career success or a mixture of these things. This is the place of triumph.

Over to you

If you want to benefit from this compound interest effect , think on your desires to ferment the commitment to making them happen, and then take daily steps towards your goals. Within a short space of time you’ll be amazed at your progress – so long as you commit to the every day principle.

Here’s to your success!

A Call To The Brave and The Bold

uncategorized self help self confidence personal development fulfillment change your life challenging core beliefs building confidence exercises build confidence 2 be the best

A Call To The Brave and The Bold, avoid the pitfalls of short cuts

In life and business there are many ways to get ahead. There are insider tips, special information and pieces knowledge which people promote and share with you often only after payment. If you are interested in internet marketing (a broad term which basically means making money from the internet) you will have seen this technique all the time.  I would recommend to any one who considers themselves to be ‘newbies’ to think twice, three times and more before paying for any specialist knowledge from the net. Knowledge does has a real value, and good information is worth every red cent you pay for it, but many people are peddling revolutionary short-cuts to riches which often have the smell of rip-off about them. If you are not interested in internet marketing, let me summarise for you. On the net, seemingly more than anywhere else, people peddle get rich quick schemes and ways to cut corners. But it isn’t usually the corners that get cut. The people paying for the services which turn out to be less than revolutionary are the ones who most often get cut! And often its what they pay for that’s been cut!

Short Cuts Are About Our Fears

Twitter is full of people promoting quick ways to build traffic and exploit social media more fully. The option to buy followers and likes is everywhere, but who does this serve but their own vanity? It doesn’t help their business.

This is where in your own life mission; you need join the brave and the bold.  People selling quick fixes are selling based on your fear of failure and fear of lack of time. But they don’t reckon on your level of commitment to achieving your dream.

If you are truly committed to achieving your dream then you will do it whatever it takes. If you are truly committed to setting up a new business, or a gallery, or a bakery or even an internet marketing operation, then so long as you are 100% committed to it, then you simply will do so.  Crazily, many people spend a lot of money trying not to spend money only to spend more money in the long run. The first way people do this on the internet is through Search Engine Optimization, believing that SEO is the be all and end all for getting traffic and orders for their business. Then they try social media and buy products about that. Later they may buy a particular expertise related to a niche market. All because they didn’t want to spend a lot of money on doing the simple things. Later on they may go the direct route and use the advertising which initially seemed so expensive in the first place.

But we don’t want to avoid the challenges our dreams bring us. We want to tackle them head on, because doing so will get us forward more quickly, and help us strengthen on the way.

The Challenge

Here is my suggestion and challenge to you: if you have a dream and you want it to succeed, then back yourself 100% and more besides. If you have a burning ambition of any kind, then it is you duty to try to fulfil it. Doing anything less may leave you with questions and a sense of longing later on. How do you do this practically speaking?

Whatever It Takes - the motto of the brave and the bold

Every resource you have, financial or otherwise should be ready to support this dream. If you want it so badly that you simply must achieve it or die trying, then you will be prepared to invest whatever it takes and make it happen. This is not a call to borrow money. This is not to say that you should get yourself into debt. Because whatever you have should be enough. But in order to get the life you are seeking, you may have to use every ounce of your person in order to get there. The chances are you won’t have to. But in deciding that you are prepared to do this means that you have already come a very long way towards your dream. And when you make that decision, you have struck off the tempting shortcuts by people exploiting the fear that you won’t make it. Its right at this point that you have become one of the Brave and the Bold, someone ready to pay the price for living their dream.

Here’s to your success!

Escaping A Deeper Kind of Fug – Simple Keys to Breaking Out Of Depression

Escape a Deeper Kind of Fug – Break Out of Depression with ConfidenceCourses.net

Fear and Anxiety Are Illusions with Sensations Attached

In cold winter months with short days, bad feelings and thoughts can lurk within. But don’t worry! I’m not going all negative on you here. Where there’s a problem, there’s always a solution here at ConfidenceCourses.net Fear and anxiety are illusions with sensations attached, and once we realise that we have the power to overcome them with concerted decision and action, much of their sting can be removed over the course of time.

Depression is a deeper kind of fug. It is a trap with a seemingly booby trapped escape route. Don’t take that as me saying it can’t be defeated, for it  can! But to defeat depression we have to be a little more strategic about it, because though giving in to the limitations of your depression to make yourself feel better can seem tempting,  it is actually a way of letting the parasitic malaise burrow a little deeper and take more from your freedom.

Withdrawing Because of Depression is an Isolation Trap

With depression, when we begin withdrawing it can be that we continue to follow the pattern of withdrawal and then soon become isolated, and then the snowballing feelings can then become much worse… even to the point of despair.

This is where we may need to make some radical decisions –  we may even have to do exactly what those annoying people say to depressed people on soap operas on TV – ‘Snap out of it!’ I know that approach sounds condemning and patronising of depression, but there is a grain of truth in it that we need to seize on if sufferers want to get better.  I don’t mean that you should just ‘turn it off’, smile and suppress how you feel like those patronising TV characters are suggesting – I mean that you should do something different which will contradict the depression and bring you a new result. The switch in our feelings can well be hidden simply in the momentary choice to ‘do something.’

Sounds Ridiculous? Try it!

If you are depressed, some of these suggestions may just sound ridiculous – but they will also have real value when you try them:

• Do you feel lethargic and hopeless? Jog on the spot, and do some exercise for fifteen minutes.

• Thinking about how pointless the world and life is? Read a poem or listen to a song which is playing to a different tune and redirect your mind onto the meaning of the lyrics. Or like the ex-smoker, do the washing up and concentrate on doing it to the best of your ability.

• Are your thoughts stuck on you and how bad everything is? In the words of Norman Vincent Peale, Get out of yourself!  Find out where you can help locally to serve people who are worse off than you. Is there a local homeless centre of soup kitchen? I know, this may seem like a big goal at first, so set little steps towards it and do them! Getting out of yourself is one of the best ways to overcome a negative, inward focus. And you know what – you might just discover a new passion, a new career out of it!

ConfidenceCourses.net is soon to release a no-nonsense guide on how to defeat worry, anxiety and depression. Stay tuned for more information – subscribe to the blog today!

You Are Not Here To Make Up The Numbers: The Pinnacle Is Just The Start

self confidence ralph waldo emerson power of words law of attraction john paul williams hope happiness goal setting fulfillment faith 2 education confidence building change your life challenging core beliefs be the best

Emerson… Ignite your inner fire to succeed with John Paul Williams at ConfidenceCourses.net

“If our young men miscarry in their first enterprises they lose all heart. If the young merchant fails, men say he is ruined… [but] a sturdy lad from New Hampshire or Vermont who in turn tries all professions, who teams it, farms it, peddles, keeps a school, preaches, edits a newspaper. Goes to Congress, buys a township and so forth… and always like a cat falls on his feet, is worth a hundred of these city dolls.” Ralph Waldo Emerson, Self Reliance

The Clarion Call Back To Yourself

How liberating it is to dabble in reading Emerson. Emerson was a man who cared that life should be lived authentically, in the moment, and without deference to the dominant views held by society or by cow towing to authority. In a sense, you may say this seems anarchistic, and it is, but only in a sense. This is not a call to destruction or waywardness, but to drawing out the best in our spirit. What Emerson does is sound the clarion call;  he sounds the bell to draw us back to mindfulness of our present, reminding us that we are alive now, and that we have no need to create footnotes to our actions,  displaying the showy wisdom that our choices have been founded and lived before in the past. Do you ever try to back up your actions and understandings with the idea that your way has based on the soundest ideas of people who lived before you? Many do, though they are not aware of it. Our education has sought to make us find foundation in others, and to stand on the shoulders of history in all that we do.

The Pinnacle is not the Pinnacle

It is very necessary to learn of past achievements in order to know that man and woman is capable of greatness, and to learn the limits to which our species has flown up to now. But our education and culture has been at fault when it implies that the people who have scaled these great heights were the pinnacle points of our species, and that we must bow our heads in veneration of heroes past and present, knowing only that they have outshone us and always will even before we have died, and that we may never scale the heights which they did. Education and culture would deny this ugly accusation… but then this is no accusation. It is drawing an inference, a sensation with which we are all left by implication in the reports of historical and contemporary greatness. In an earlier blog post I mentioned the authoritative tone taken by’education’ as the voice of the Lordly, must-be –obeyed establishment. It is the voice of self preservation of a class and perhaps an attempt to preserve subservience (the flip-side, a necessary lack of self-belief creating a voluntary class of people to serve the establishment class, sentiment and intellect). Yet this voice is an authoritative call to increasing stagnation and mediocrity. If we obey it, we are drawn to the middle ground of under-achievement, of poor self esteem, of being less than we truly are.

You are much more than the stereotype of limited achievement you expected up to now. You are not a C1, C2, C3. You are not in the low income tax band as a life sentence. You are not generation X, Y or Z. You are not a Dolphin, Racoon, Monkey or a budgerigar. You are alive here and now, and you have every aspect of opportunity in this world available to you right now, and the power to access it lies within every fibre of your being.

You are not here to make up the numbers

You are not here to make up the numbers. And like the quote at the head of this post suggests you are not to be limited by the fear or failure or the fear of success, or the will of one supposedly dominant voice over another.

You are able to pursue one goal, just because you like the taste of it. And if you do not achieve this  goal or, or your palate changes and your lust for experience leads you in another direction, you are well blessed with the ability and birthright to change your mind and pursue yet another goal until you achieve the level of success you desire, or simply decide again to change your mind.

This year, this moment, you have the opportunity to choose the way you go next.  Left, right with a skip or a jump, the choice is always definitely yours. And if this doesn’t feel true for you just now, I would insist you look again. Why do you feel you have little or no choice? Why are’ they’ forcing your hand? Who is forcing your hand? And what is their motive? If it seems you are being pushed into a corner, do not be pushed. Look at your circumstances afresh and choose the route which seems most satisfying to your soul and you will also find that it will be most satisfying for your future too.

Push every door. Enjoy every taste.  Complete every experience on your bucket list today, tomorrow and always. Then joy will be yours.

Here’s to your success!

What is Education For? The True Purpose of Learning to Become

personal development fulfillment education confidence courses challenging core beliefs build confidence 2 be the best

Panopticon, the all seeing eye! Instead Education is inspiration with a purpose at ConfidenceCourses.net!

The True Purpose of Education

When discussing this subject educational establishments and authorities tend to focus on the purpose of education as a means to the strucure of social conventions, traditions and ideologies necessary to maintain national stability and status quo.  This attitude was prevalent in the authoritative books we were given as students during my time in studying ‘culture and modernity’, some years ago. Though I am sure this ideology is all good and necessary from an establishment point of view, it is  tiresome and police-like when read by a student whose concerns are for self-betterment, and the improvement of the lives of other individuals.

Whenever books start out along the lines of education as serving the functional purpose of making society bonded, cohesive and – let’s face it – obedient to the types of narrative voice speaking – I and many others are bound to switch off. I write this not to imply that I am some kind of anarchist, or aspiring trendy mid-lifer wishing to be a latter day rebel, but because frankly I find none of this appealing. And if you are of an independent mind and someone seeking to better themselves, neither will you.

Just think of it!

What I do find appealing is the opportunity education provides to change one’s life and the life of others. Think of it. By learning that of what has been done before, you learn that you are no different biologically than the greatest men ands women who have ever lived. You also discover that you have the same fundamental abilities as some of the greatest achievers ever born. You then realise that the same vast opportunities that were presented to those who seized them are also open to you!

It is at this point that education becomes informative, palatable, inspiring and almost totally divorced from the authoritative voice which leads us not to compliance and drone like obedience to its all-seeing eye, but  instead leads to a an open road where you can achieve all things which you set your mind to -here education becomes a way to plumb the depths of one’s own limitless potential, and to help others to see their own innate abilities.

I hope this doesn’t come across as pretentious in any way. I just want to get away from the classical notion of the self-important judge-and-jury teacher who lurks behind such academic rhetoric and instead fall in line with the writer and teacher who is an inspirer of men and women to achieve more than they ever thought possible. If we are honest about our own experience it is only these teachers we are grateful to or remember with any fondness. The others fade to grey or become despots in our memories. If your learning experience doesn’t meet these criteria, then what criteria is it meeting? And who is it for anyway?

Here’s to you staying fresh, inspired and alive! Here’s to your success.

It’s Time To Hero Up!

goal setting fulfillment confidence courses confdence challenging core beliefs

Its Time to Hero Up with confidencecourses.net

This week things were not going to plan in my life in several ways. But the most keenly felt of these was the disappointment when seeing a life pattern repeat itself around me. I had invested time and energy into a project that was ready to fly, and had received much input and encouragement from some keen parties. But right at this very point, the people doing all the talking seemed to do nothing but, well… talk. Where was the action? Where was the delivery? Where were these people when it counted? There were stories of action, boasts of ability, but results there were none.

These questions led me down a blind alley called ‘Why?’  The street neighbouring this alley is known as ‘Why Me Street.’ And if you zoom out and look at the map, you will see both these places are smack bang in the middle of Self-Pitysville.

It took me a day or so of wallowing to begin to remember that in every problem lays the seed of an opportunity. I had begun to tell myself negative things like ‘Here we go again, another wasted idea… more wasted time…’ and so on, but really I was losing my way and wasting my own time.

Instead of this I needed to realise that the idea behind this project was still inherently great, it was just the others and their depreciating credibility that was the problem.

To put this very simply Is that I realised it was Time To Hero Up.

When people get in the way of your plans, are you going to let that happen?

When you can’t see the wood for the trees, are you going to sit down and cry or stand up and find your way through?

When you feel the same old negative thought processes creeping in, are you going to forget that you have an enormous say in your destiny and success, or are you going to let those old lies triumph once again?

My friend, you know the answer.

Many mornings recently my little boy wakes me up very early, and to help with the tiredness he and I indulge in a little cartoon viewing. At six-twenty am Marvel’s Super Hero Squad is kicks in. It’s a fun rehash of the old Avengers characters with some great irony and humour thrown in. And every episode when the heroes face their enemies there comes a critical moment of choice when these characters have to do something about their situation. The theme music kicks in with a loud guitar riff. It’s Time To Hero Up!

In your story, when you get to the point when you seem stuck, you know what the time is.

In your life, when you get afraid of doing what has to be done, deep down you know what to do.

If you are feeling that you are being beaten down and you are beginning to think ‘Why me? Why now? Why is this happening again?’ …

You know what?

It’s Time To Hero Up.  Get your theme tune on and get stuck in. Victory is coming – soon.

Dear readers, apologies for the recent break in posts. Our live Starting Points confidence courses were recently redeveloped to provide even more structure and inspiring content for participants, but now this is in full effect, we are back. A Story To Blow Your Mind and Confirm Every Hope

power of words fulfillment confdence change your life challenging core beliefs

Turkish Delight, A Story To Blow Your Mind from ConfidenceCourses.net

Today I heard a story that blew my mind and confirmed my every hope.

It was a story of an audacious God who acts in power as he sees fit, in ways that are so unpredictable that this particular story simply cannot be made up. The signs he has left can only point to Him.

If you have read this blog before you will know that it is about personal development and about a coaching course which I lead and help deliver in the heart of beleaguered, urban Southend-on-sea.  The course helps people change their lives, and each month we make inroads into the lives of some and leave the seeds of profound change in others.

Four days per week we also run The Storehouse, a food bank and community café to serve the homeless, poor, deprived and rejected of the town. The Storehouse must surely be the most busy food bank and community outreach in Essex,  and quite possibly the whole of the South East of England.

This blog regularly tells you about our confidence courses and offers you information gleaned and exercises for your transformation, but today I am being even more open with you, more outright than ever before – because to otherwise would be to do you a disservice. I risk alienating some of you who rule out the existence of a Divine creator. Much personal development information out there steers well clear of ‘faith,’ but if I am to give you the complete truth then it is worth the risk.

This story illustrates just who is the source of complete and all-powerful life change.

I write this to give you the truth as it has been revealed to me today.

10 days ago a man who went to Turkey as a non-believer found that it was time for his life to be turned upside down.

He was with a friend. They were on a business trip. I will briefly summarise his tale:

This man travelled to Turkey on a very sensible business trip with his friend. On day one in Turkey he spoke to a local man in a bar. He told his English friend that he knew the man, but his friend scoffed that this wasn’t possible. “I do know him,” said the man, and set about proving it. He asked the man if he had angel wings tattooed on his back. Promptly the man turned his body and lifted his t-shirt to reveal the very tattoo the Englishman had described. This happened in a bar. The Landlord said “How did you do that?”

“Do what?”

“That man doesn’t speak any English at all. He only understands yes and no.” said the Landlord. But this man had understood and obeyed every word the Englishman said. Later that day, as they were talking to the Turkish Landlord, the intuitive Englishman asked the landlord about his Lemon Tree. The Landlord became suddenly quiet and emotional. He changed the subject.

It was clear that something was going on. Something amazing was happening to this Englishman in Turkey.

He went away with his friend. His friend told him about Jesus, and he accepted Jesus into his Life. Moments later, the new believer said. “Come on. I must go here, this way,” and led his friend towards a quayside.

His friend assured him there was nothing that way, and reluctantly followed. But there was something: children playing, ready to dive into the clear cool seawater. The children beckoned the Englishmen towards them.

“What, me?” asked one of the Englishmen.

The children said No. They wanted the new believer with them. They called him and told him to get into the water. Obedient to the calling of a powerful new force, the new voice in his life, the man stripped down to his trunks.

The kids told him to dive in with them. Knowing by now that this meeting and these instructions were from none other but God, he followed and dived into the cool Turkish sea. Upon surfacing, the children asked ‘How old are you?’ Imagine –  such a question in any other context could not make sense, but here it was made perfectly sensible. This was a new dawn, a momentous transformation beyond all others, with God directly at the centre of events. This was a baptism.  There was only one answer this man could give.

“ZERO!”  He was zero – newborn – new and innocent once again. This man knew he had been reborn. He says the feelings he felt as he swam in that sea in those fresh new minutes were the best he had ever experienced in life. The man later that day went back to the bar. He learned that the lemon tree was a memorial to the landlord’s deceased daughter. And shortly after browsing through a newspaper, discussing the stories inside within his friend, it was pointed out to him that the newspaper was in Turkish – a language he could not understand in the least!

In one day God had revealed himself through miracles, signs, wonders, interpretation of foreign languages, amazing insights and divine appointments. Much more happened on this trip than I can relate to you now, and all of it was amazing. All of it was witnessed. All of these events are real and reported to you because they simply blew me away.

Sitting in The Storehouse Community Cafe today listening to this very man describe theses events we experiened the sense was of listening to an undeniable, incredible story, a story that was sealed by a witness  It is a story authored by God and told through a man in close communion with him.

As he shared his tale, he recalled that God had told him three things which he gave to us in turn. And now I share these pearls with you.

That his life was to be an adventure.

That he was not to hurry, but to be patient to let things unfold – not to chase and strive.

And he was told ‘Don’t Expect the Worst.’

Today as this humble man told these things –  I knew – I felt – I believed – that these words were for each and every person sitting in that room. I was filled with excitement – I felt like a gong which had been struck was was still reverberating.  I was in awe, ecstasy and excitement.

The message he shared flowed out to people in the room and touched them in different ways. This was a message that changed lives on Friday 17th August 2012.

To me, I already knew that life was to be an adventure. And so is yours. Your life is a beautiful adventure from which you are to make the very most.

The message not to hurry was been given me time and again, and today alone I have received it from three very different sources. I encourage you also not to hurry, but to know there is more than enough time to do what is to be done in your life. Move with ease and see your life unfold with peace and calm.

And, in tune with the messages shared on our confidence courses, Do not expect the worst, for if you do, you may receive it. The famous personal development/NLP message that you ‘get what you focus on’ has been sealed today by God. Instead I can recommend in confidence that you can expect that a Glorious amazing God is watching over you, and wants the best for your life. Because this is true. It has been proven so today.

I do not say any of this pompously, piously or for your conversion to religion. This is not my aim. My aim is to give you every chance of releasing the very best possible life you can have. Everything you need is truly all within you and God-given. And now it is my great pleasure in telling you that I now have an absolute faith in the Creator, and I know what he will do for you will be amazing. He will make you new. He will empower you. What Makes Your Heart Sing? Discover Your Promised Land with ConfidenceCourses.net

What makes your heart sing?

There is a big clue in what you are here for, especially when some days we just don’t know what its all about. The main clue, the biggest clue we have in what we are here for, what are our god given talents and responsibilities is to find what makes our heart sing and then follow it like a badger on heat. I don’t quite know what badgers are like when on heat (thankfully), but you get the idea.

Today one young man began to break his barriers

Today in one of our real life personal development training sessions I was asking a young man about what he wanted to do in life. He turned his sheet of paper and showed me a list of barriers to his success including things like impatience and dyslexia.  I asked him to lay these barriers aside, again and I said to him what he really wanted to do. He thought for a moment and looked at his barriers then replied that he didn’t know. I asked him to put the sheet down and think what he would do if all those barriers didn’t exist, and he could do whatever job he wanted. He thought for a moment then his face lit up like a Christmas Tree.  I was expecting some incredible fantasy to erupt from his mouth, but what he said was this:

“I’d become a chef.”

“How would you feel if you overcame all those barriers and you became a chef?” I asked him.

“I would be ecstatic.” He replied.

I looked at that list of barriers, which seemed pretty long, but to be honest it shouldn’t have been very long at all. Some of the words actually meant the same thing, they were synonyms, which meant he had counted them twice. And a couple of them  were related, such as his self-declared impatience and dyslexia.  None of them would have held this young man back from his ambition – they neither had such power or in truth would they have stopped him from learning the skills from achieving  it. Do you know why?

Because when he realises that some of those barriers are over-inflated and puffed up beyond their size, and when he sees he has been counting them twice, he will see how small and isignificant they truly are. Furthermore, it is true by common experience that before we set out on any worthwhile mission it seems impossible, daunting or a long way off. Yet, make your start and you will see your target suddenly gets a lot nearer than before.

And finally, this man had the true fuel for success. After defeating Andy Murray at Wimbledon this week, Roger Federer sais he knew he would always do it because he had the belief. This was not an arrogant and idle boast. This was close to the heart of the issue for this young man and the rest of us. What keeps us from achieving our dreams is the choice to discover what they are, and the choice to go for them with all our heart.

What is Your Joy – Your Insatiable Passion?

Belief isn’t just the certainty in one’s own game. It is certainty in one’s calling. And the calling on each our lives comes from the insatiable passion to achieve something. For this young man, today he peered over his list of barriers and saw a forgotten dream – his promised land – and it inspired him all over again.

What is the song of your heart? What is your forgotten dream? It is your promised land. So do yourself a great favour now – discard your barriers and chase down your dream. You have one, and it is closer than you think.
